My
astrological work specializes considerably in relocational
astrocartography. This is the astrological science of
studying how one’s life radically changes
depending on where one is on the Earth. I’m sure
you can imagine the incredible benefits of this knowledge.
Getting helpful direction as to which places may be best
to live in, to have good relationships in, to have financial
success in, or just to travel to, can be invaluable information.
I consider this perhaps the most exciting and extraordinary
application of astrology, because it is the main thing
one can do to essentially change one’s chart, and
therefore one’s life. This class is appropriate
for anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of the astrological
planets, signs, houses, and aspects. My clients have
told me so consistently that I have been so accurate,
that I have come to realize that I need to teach and
share my unique methods with others.
Most
people who specialize in locational astrology have
realized that there is far more to astro-location than
simple linemaps (where a geographical map shows you
what planetary lines run through any given place);
most locational specialists use the entire relocated
chart. I feel
my approach is considerably more useful, detailed,
and accurate than the most common methods.
I
have studied the perspectives of many experts in locational
astrology, both Western and Vedic, and done a great
deal of my own independent research, in order to put
together what I have found to be the best and most
complete astro-locality system possible. My system
of astrocartography does involve the entire relocated
chart, as many other specialists already do, but my
approach then goes many steps further. There are a
number of specific, powerful guidelines that I have
discovered which are
unique and more accurate than anything else I have
come across. One of the best things about
my approach to relocational astrocartography is that
it is relatively simple and easy to learn, though ultimately
mastering it still depends on knowledge of many elements
of astrology. I am excited about sharing this material
with you in this six-week class, because you will know
how to do locational astrology on a foundational level
by the time we are done.
Note: This foundation-level course provides most, but
not all, of my best insights on locational astrology
and astrocartography. After listening to these tapes,
I very highly recommend some amount of further (phone)
tutoring in
order to get and understand my entire approach.
My locational astrology employs
both a Western and an Eastern (Vedic/Hindu) view
on the science. In my opinion, using only one or
the other astrological system often conceals half of
the picture. For example, a person's Venus may be
very benefic or positive for them in their Western
chart, but very malefic or negative for them in their
Vedic chart (or vice versa). To suggest a Venus line
for such a person would be a very intensely "mixed" experience
for someone--yet the overwhelming majority of astrologers
will make this kind of enormous mistake because they
only believe in one system or approach. If an astrologer
can only see with one of these two systems (and almost
everyone out there uses only one system for locational
astrology), I believe and I find that their information
is going to be terribly wrong at times.
I
have had clients come to me that had paid for very expensive locational
astrology readings from other experts in this science,
only to wonder why the places recommended to them by
these other astrologers turned out to be such negative
experiences for them. In every case, looking at the person's
chart, I could see exactly why the places recommended
by the other astrologer(s) were not good locations for
them, because I was working with certain perspectives
and techniques that those astrologers were not, and my
methods explained certain things that their more general
methods could not. The only people working with all of
the same methods as myself are my own students that have
learned my unique methods directly from me.
There are other reasons why I am certain that my approach is a step beyond
the work of other locational astrologers. Above all, I aim to be exceptionally holistic in
my astrological work. By studying the astrological perspectives of so
many different cultures and schools of thought, and by being flexible
enough to do tons of research and experimentation with competing theories
while maintaining an open mind, I believe I have come to a much more
complete approach to astrology and astrocartography, or locational astrology.
The most important
thing about relocational astrology is obviously accuracy, and the
feedback I get back from clients has always indicated the accuracy
of my work. In the end, that is what my work stands on, and it
is because of
the accuracy of my work that I am so confident
in it. I would not take on the such an important responsibility
as this kind of work if I was not convinced that what I had to
offer you is the best locational astrology advice that you can
find anywhere.
What
About Two or More Nearby Locations? Can Your Locational
Astrology / Astrocartography Notice a Difference?
One
question I am frequently asked is if I can recommend
one location over another in the same geographic region
using locational astrology; for example, San Diego
or Los Angeles? In most (though not all) cases
there will
be a noticeable
difference, but I can't know for sure until I take
a look for you. I'll give you a personal example.
I
live in Prescott, AZ, which is a little more than
50 miles
north of Phoenix or Scottsdale, AZ. I have a tough
Moon-Pluto paran line (this is not
a traditional angular astrocartography line) running
East-to-West close to Phoenix that I feel very
powerfully whenever I am down there, but I don't
feel up here in Prescott. So even though
the astrocartography lines or locational astrology charts
are almost identical
between these two places, one location is still far superior
to the other for me.
