One
of the things that you have had to learn is how
to be your own person. If you have been in relationships,
you’ve had to learn to be true to yourself
and to insure you have enough space to really
be yourself. If your partners haven’t given
you the space that you feel you need, you probably
haven’t had a ton of patience for them.
That may be the greatest thing that you have
learned since 1996, how to be in a relationship
while being good and true to yourself and your
own needs for freedom and space. If you are in
a relationship this issue may be up for review,
but by now, you already know what to do with
that one, right? If you are not in a relationship,
then the remainder of this year could bring you
something unexpected in that department.
Most
Leo’s probably also learned (or are still
learning) how to have more realistic expectations
about relationships, how not to delude oneself
into thinking that everyone one falls in love
with is either Prince Charming or Jennifer Lopez
(unless you’re Ben Affleck, I guess), and
how to avoid getting into dramatic emotional
entanglements with people that obviously aren’t
right for them in the first place. It’s
like a loving slap from the Universe
saying something like, “get a grip.” The
Leo’s who have gotten that grip have been
in a great position to manifest real love.
Now
let’s talk about the last six months. Most
Leo’s probably found at least some of this
time a little rough around the edges. However,
the Leo’s who were either involved in some
kind of healing work or with going deeper into
intimacy or partnership with others (even business
partnerships) might have found this time more
inspiring. But what remains as true is that the
planets are shifting in ways that will bring
Leo’s a need to deal with a lot of serious
issues for a long time to come. For most Leo’s
this will bring its fair share of challenging
moments, but for you, it can bring a great deal
of power. Here’s how.
Consider
it an edict from the Universe that life will
be intense for Leo’s for a long, long time
to come. Now it’s a matter of what kind
of intense it’s going to be, because it
can be a very good kind of intense, and that’s
of course what you would like it to be. The very
best way to work with these influences is to
become a healer, and there are lots and lots
of ways to heal. Healing, in this context, really
just means making the world a much brighter place;
it’s about looking seriously at things
that are dark in order to understand how to liberate
them into light. And that’s … well,
intense. But somebody’s got to do it, right?
And according to what the planets are telling
me, that somebody is now you, Leo. If you choose
this “good intense” path, then I
think you will do utterly amazing things over
the next twenty-two years of your life, and you
will help make the world a much brighter place.
But if you choose the lower intense path, you
could be crying in your beer for a long, long
time.
The
first thing I think you really have to do if
you haven’t already is to get sincere about
your own healing and spirituality. Can you really
heal from your past if you routinely get drunk
and get high? No, you can’t, because then
you can’t see yourself or your past clearly
at all, and thus you can’t really go forward.
You’ve got to raise your self-awareness
higher than it’s ever been, and you will
need all the clarity and discipline you can get
to accomplish that. The only reason I’m
being so blunt and dramatic here is because this
really is a very serious issue based on your
chart; I'm not being so extreme with any of the
other twelve signs. If you choose the high road
now, it will pay off like you wouldn’t
believe. If you choose the low road … well
trust me, you really, really don’t want
to do that.
Leo,
over the last six months, you have faced a very
big choice. You have been choosing between the
high road or the low road. More than any other
sign, you are being forced to make this decision.
Now you may have a pause to decide once again.
By the time we get to 2004, you will have already
made some major decisions about the road you’re
going to travel. There will always be stopping
points where you can get off the low road and
move on up to the higher road, but why not just
make that commitment now? If you follow your
spiritual guidance systems, you will continue
to deepen in compassion, in insight, and in spirituality
for a long, long time to come, and you will become
such a great healing force in this world. The
Universe is trying to make you into a spiritual
dynamo. Please go that route, because the alternative
is probably the opposite. I’m really glad
that you get to choose. The ball’s in your
