Cleaner, anyway. And when you’ve spent what feels like eons cleaning out your insides, guess what comes next? Good, yummy, fun stuff to fill in all of the space that you’ve created by dumping much of the dark stuff in your psyche and in your life. You have almost graduated from an eight-year colonic-a-day program. Congratulations! God knows you and your revamped rear end deserve it.

I should also say that many Cancers would have found themselves, not as much cleaning their own insides, as helping other people to heal theirs. If you have been a healer over these years, Cancer, you were in the right place at the right time. Good job. But it’s a strangely ironic thing that Cancer, who holds onto the past like no other sign can, has for a long, long time also been forced more than any other sign to revisit and release the most heavy energies from their past. Welcome to planet Earth, I guess.

But I’m willing to bet my nice, safe, Cancerian Volvo that over the last six months (March through September) you have had at least some remarkably beautiful, gorgeous, fun experiences, particularly between March and May, if not after. I know you’ve had some challenges too, but at least you’ve had more freedom with which to go after your goals and desires. What’s happening in the planets for you is a bit complicated. Honestly, there are probably some more colonics still to come. But things are, in the big picture, I promise, on the upswing. You have been intermittently meeting the darkest, most human places within your psyche since 1996. If you’ve chosen a path of healing and consciousness, then you are ripe to blossom like a golden Phoenix over the next twenty-two years! I really mean that.

My advice to Cancer right now goes something like this: Over the rest of this year, you’ve probably some more “issues” to revisit. What else is new, right? Meet these issues with self-forgiveness, love, and spiritual devotion to healing for the good of all. Say goodbye with compassion. But you are getting closer and closer to reaping the incredibly joyful rewards of your inner work. Then, by the time 2004 comes around, do everything you can to enjoy and treat yourself, but still keep working hard, and be ready for some more cleansing as well; but also buy a very nice pair of shades. ‘Cause that long-term future of yours is really looking very, very bright. I really mean that.

In the bigger, long-term picture, no other sign but Cancer is going from as many challenging influences to as many enjoyable influences. Overall and in general, I get the sense that Cancer is going to enjoy the next couple decades of their lives much more than Cancer’s can probably imagine. It might even have a “late bloomer” feel to it. I think you’re going to spend the next couple of decades realizing how much Grace there is in the Universe, experiencing new heights of joyous fun and spiritual understanding. If you want to travel the world and enjoy its cultures, you will have the full support of the heavens. And if there’s any positive work that you will want to undertake to uplift others and raise consciousness, you are in the perfect position. Thank God. Amen. Hallelujah!
