We've got yet another turning point on our hands today. The fiery and emotional intensity of the last few days seems likely to continue today, but then will probably begin to really abate tomorrow. It's that season to try to focus on old business rather than starting new things. Rather than becoming possessed with new ideas, it's better to take care of the ideas and projects that have already begun before today. "Watch your tongue," sayeth your momma. Those could be good words to heed today. Over the next couple of days anger and frustration are likely to run higher than normal and argumentativeness is likely to be the outlet for those flames today.

Beginning today, however, we will feel an enormous burst of power returning (especially for Aries and fire signs) although it may be a little too intense at first. Overall, this is a very positive turn of events, although it may take a few days before it can really be fully felt in a balanced way. We are likely to be slowly regaining clarity, power, and energy. I would just ride out the storms for now and look forward to what's soon to come. There will definitely be some powerful changes happening today. Monday, December 15th


There was one important thing I forgot to mention yesterday. I wrote the night before yesterday: "Today could have a very nice sort of "turning point" feeling to it, and I bet a lot of people are going to begin feeling more organized and at peace mentally beginning today." Well that certainly makes sense with the capture of Saddam Hussein, but there was another influence yesterday, which is also an influence today, that is temporarily stirring things up. Over the next few days anger and frustration are likely to run higher than normal, and for many this same influence will also probably bring some emotional sadness or drama in. Beginning Tuesday, however, we will feel an enormous burst of power returning (especially for Aries) although it may be a little too intense at first.

Relief. It's what's on the cosmic agenda. Whether you've been sick, confused, spacey, overworked, or emotionally dramatized, it's good news that an intense aspect which has been dominating for weeks is about to begin waning. Today could have a very nice sort of "turning point" feeling to it, and I bet a lot of people are going to begin feeling more organized and at peace mentally beginning today. Clarity should start to return, slowly but surely.

Another pattern is wrapping up right now, as well. This has to do with some of the emotional drama and spiritual growth forced upon us over the last six months. What you might try to gain at this time, is consciousness and clarity around what you have learned in these areas. The first part of the day could be a little hairy. There aren't too many interesting things happening today, and overall I get the picture of some emotional confusion being a significant possibility. It could be a great day to work on expressing ourselves and our feelings to others, but at times we may find ourselves a little indecisive at to what our feelings are, and/or who they are for. I would be careful to make sure you are being honest with others, and not hiding things from important people in your life.

There's also a fair chance that today will present some mini-crises for use to have to attend to, quite possibly in realms of family or relationships. This doesn't seem to be a huge issue, so I would just roll with today's punches and be as fully present present as you can to any dynamic situations that present themselves.

The ideal, the universal, the progressive, the new age, the radical, and even the media. These are some of the things that are particularly highlighted again today as they were yesterday, so get out your consciousness toys, talk to your alien friends, ascend to the fifth dimension, and come up with a plan to end world hunger over the next couple days. No problem. Enjoy the electric, alternative vibrations.

Today represents an unusual contradiction. In many respects, emotions should feel more stable today than they did yesterday--and yet at the same time, we should have a very wild moment or two towards the second half of the day. There are certain influences present today that seem perfect for today's US holiday of Thanksgiving: relatively peaceful, enjoyable, fun and intimate influences. A certainly planetary shift happened yesterday as well that should bring a more conservative, traditional, and family type of focus into our relationships as well, so that just makes too much sense for Thanksgiving as well. This same influence could also be about a more solid, earthy quality coming into our relationships for the next few weeks.

I think this might turn into a pretty odd day, but I do see a silver lining. The last few days have been marked with the potential for strong opinions to dominate and create conflict; if you haven't felt any unusual stresses, consider yourself pretty lucky. Today could be a kind of final hurrah of this potentially divisive energy. Wills may clash, so try to sidestep any unnecessary venom without necessarily sacrificing your ground.

At the same time, there is clearly a healing component that is a potential for today, whether that is about the willingness to work for or serve others, or one's one growth. There is also a signature of the possibility of a spiritual solution to emotional challenges. A good thing to keep in mind for today may be loving and accepting others unconditionally and allowing them to be, hands off, just as they are. Let fears and insecurities give way to faith in yourself and trust in the Divine.

This looks like a good day to work on building community or on larger social plans that involve numbers of people. Today should also have a much more stable feeling to it overall than yesterday, since yesterday had more challenges and sadness around relationships whereas today has a lot more social power and charm going around. Socially and emotionally, the ground will feel a lot more solid for the large majority of people.

There will be a transition around mid-day, though, and we're likely to get into a more industrious mode in the second half of the day.


Monday, November 24th


We've just today reached an interesting astrological turning point. 2004 is going to be incredibly exciting, and, I think, really wonderful in a lot of ways. The events of the last month and a half have largely been for the purpose of bringing changes into our lives that will help us to be more on track with the awesome potentials of next year. So the last five weeks or so of this year should serve to give us some kind of a breather before all of the action of next year, and/or to allow us to make some gradual steps towards the incredible and powerful new forward movement of 2004. The very good news is that things will probably feel much more "settled down" for most people beginning today, and over the rest of the year.

One of the better ways to handle today's energy is to give love, help, or compassion to others. Still, many people will experience some sadness or loss around relationships today; if so "letting go" is the key and the name of the game. You can also probably expect to see a lot of strong opinions expressed today.

The good news is that after today, things will start to settle down and come back to normal in most ways. Rather than wild energies pulling us in one direction or another, we can start to settle down from all of the dramatic changes of the last month and a half and see things becoming a little slower, at least for a short breather, anyway. Today looks like an especially important day to practice being mindful of the things that we communicate to others; if we aren't careful, we might be too combative or mean, or just not compassionate enough with our "honesty."

For today, fasting and meditation might be a really good way to try to raise your own energies higher than where the collective's are. It's a great time to create your own "field of consciousness" rather than getting pulled down by any weird vibes that are going around. If you open up to your intuition today, you might hear some very powerful messages.

This is a very interesting day to have one day before a somewhat intense eclipse. Although the planets certainly are spelling out some funky potentials today, there also happens to be a kind of six-pointed star taking place today, which I think may manifest as an unusual healing potential, and a higher kind of integrity than normal. There may be something that wants to come to the surface for compassion to shed its light on. Events tend to be very dramatic, and emotions tend to run high, at times like these. But I get the sense right now that, like the Harmonic Concordance energies, this could all have to do with some kind of powerful Grace trying to shift our lives in more holistic and healing directions, even if there's a bit of kicking and screaming involved first.

The first half of today doesn't have a lot going on astrologically. That does mean that one of the more intense aspects going on right now could really dominate the scene. We still have a theme running that started yesterday, which will still be in effect today, and maybe for another day or two. This theme seems to have something to do with bringing intuitive or creative potential into form, and the astrological influences will make this very easy to do, rather than hard. This is a pretty interesting day. First, we have a strong beginning of a theme that will occur over the next couple of days (at least). This theme seems to have something to do with bringing intuitive or creative potential into form, and the astrological influences will make this very easy to do, rather than hard. So look forward to getting swept up into this influence. It is at least possible, however, that this same influence will manifest for some as a difficulty around communication; you might want to be a little cautious in this department because there is a chance of things getting very strange and difficult in this arena.

There is an extremely positive influence in the early part of the day which should bring forth some of the positive potential of the "harmonic concordance" pattern which was in effect a couple of weeks ago. This may have a great deal to do with devotion, learning, service, or ritual. The energies which have been disrupting our routines recently have less influence and power today, so it will be a good day to get back on track with your more normal way of going about your day. Then the later part of the day brings a more disharmonious energy to something in the emotional realm; be mindful of the possibility of converting inner turmoil into unnecessary argument at that time.


Saturday - Monday, November 15th - 17th


Playing hard is what a lot of this weekend should be about. But love and relationships may end up taking a walk on the wild side. If you can get together with others to explore, play, have fun, or adventure, you'll make the most of some of these influences, but don't be surprised if flirtation and attraction run a lot higher than normal. Sexual adventure could be a major way for these influences to manifest. Take a walk on the wild side, but don't get too attracted to the dark side ; )

Our routines are likely to feel fairly disrupted over the next week or so. You might just want to accept this to some extent, and roll with it. This probably won't last too long.

Friday, November 14th


Today may have something to do with restoring peace and balance after any unusual or negative energies from yesterday. I think there should be some very nice energies present today that have something to do with recharging and rejuvenating ourselves on emotional or soul levels. We are likely to feel a nice boost in self-worth as a result of these energies, but I would be very careful not to overdo things or get overblown as a result of any of these opportunities.

One challenging pattern that we are in the midst of as of just recently is the conflict between the desire for working seriously and being devoted versus having light-hearted fun--and this very basic archetypal conflict seems to be inundated with much more emotional drama than normal. The key here is to remain balanced and not to go too far to any end of the pendulum for too long. This will be more difficult than normal today, but hey, we can do it.


Wednesday and Thursday, November 12th and 13th


Over the last week, we've gone from one energetic cyclone to another. Next stop on the drama tour: The upcoming Solar Eclipse on the 23rd at the second degree of Sagittarius. I'm going to repeat what I said yesterday, because I think this is very important right now.

Now it's impossible to say how this will affect everyone because it depends tremendously on one's natal chart. But there are some generalities that can be made about this energy, which should be applicable more-or-less for everyone. Here's one.

There seems to be a big theme about intuition here, though it also seems like there may be some tests or challenges along the way of accessing it. I would recommend making more time than normal over the next couple of weeks to seek out mediation and quiet in hopes of opening up that clear channel to divine inspiration and doing something creative with it. This should be somewhat challenging to do, though, so it will probably require some serious committment on our parts. Today's the day astrology fans have long been waiting for: the full moon/lunar eclipse in Taurus, which has been called the "Harmonic Concordance." To honor this moment, I suggest drinking a slurpee and eating a corndog at the exact moment of the eclipse ... nah, just kidding.

Actually what I think this day calls for is a powerful, renewed commitment to any positive changes that you want to make in your life; and this could have a lot to do with your health, your consciousness, or your livelihood. For those who are working on being comfortable with their power and creativity, this is a wonderful day to set a very clear intention for what you want to use that power and creativity for. These intentions set now will have an ENORMOUS magnetism and effectiveness about them.

So if you're saying, what the heck, I'll do something unusual today for this unique moment in the cosmos, here's something you might do. At any time today before the moment of the eclipse (8:13 pm Eastern), sit and meditate. If you don't know how to meditate, just sit quietly, breathe deeply, and lift your thoughts up to God. After some time, when you feel much more deeply at peace, with incredible sincerity and humility, ask Spirit to direct you and all of your endeavors to your highest and truest path. Let God know any intentions that you have for your life, your consciousness, and your work. One of the things that we have recently been seeing is the coming to fruition of the seeds we have been planting since March. I'll bet that for a lot of folks, Halloween was pretty darn amazing this year. Some truly amazing aspects came together last night connecting our minds to the dramatic collective pattern of spiritual growth that we are all experiencing now. Everything happening right now is so incredibly exciting, although for so many people the changes that are occuring are quite intense. But I believe that the recent solar flare activity has a lot to do with us arcing our way up to a new level of spiritual realization.
