"High strung" could be a good way to describe the day's energies. However, out of this might come some interesting thoughts or realizations, or even some good organization. Intuition should be exceptionally high today, particularly if you can use it somehow in service to others. Also, some points of the day should give us a break from high strung energy, and give us an opportunity to mellow it out with some relaxation, so expect some oscillation. It looks like there will be a window of opportunity and Grace for some of the more intense, aggressive pressures and elements of the last few days to come to some kind of peace. Throughout all of this, coming up into greater integrity and responsibility seems like the way to go. This is also a powerful day to make use of your extensive know-how in communications with others. However, this communication may have more of a right-brained quality to it. Intuitive matters or heart-centered matters appear to need to be brought to the fore.

Recent days seem to be largely about gaining a newfound inspiration, one that is perhaps universal, altruistic, and broad-minded. Give thanks for any such inspiration you have received, and dedicate it to the greatest Good.

After some odd transits last Fall that had consciousness at some low points (in addition to the big transformations shown by the eclipses), it appears that our spiritual clarity will be returning to a large extent this month. Our eyes will probably be opening to important things we had forgotten. The last couple of days have had their share of astrological weirdness and/or intensity to them. Well continues the theme for a bit longer. But here's the benefit that may come out of these recent energies: some kind of inspiration. Unfortunately there was one somewhat unusual aspect that I missed out on yesterday, and so my daily message wasn't phrased as it should have been. There was a heightened kind of intensity or lack of peace along with the unusual potential for communication that I mentioned. That was my mistake, to only mention one without the other.

Well today seems to have its fair share of intensity as well (yesterday was more a combination of intensity and positivity). Very deep-seated emotional issues could be triggered, and perhaps the best thing about this is that things that need to surface for healing might very well do so. One positive outlet for these emotional challenges could be the raising of our sites to higher values because of it. This is a day where dishonesty, immaturity, or selfishness could be prominent, so I would try to steer clear of those energies, firstly within yourself, and secondly within others. It looks to me like a day to remember that everything that occurs in life is valuable for being a part of a larger, big picture of spiritual unfolding from both within ourselves, and within humanity itself. I think it's a good day to practice trust in the benevolent divine order of everything.

There are some very interesting, positive aspects during the earlier part of the day; this is likely to be a continuation of some of the unusual communication potential of yesterday. There seems to be a real potential here to bring some more unusually strong spiritual energies and feelings into words and expression right now. Let your highest truth come into expression now.

After getting clear about some issues yesterday, realizing more clearly where we are, or wrapping up some important issues, there are very significant new directions taking place today.

The last month is likely to have brought us some major, unexpected changes in life direction. Today seems like a significant turning point in terms of these changes. After having some time to reflect on how these changes have been occurring, and some time to mentally adjust, it's time to start taking real action to start moving forward in practical and concrete ways.

Emotionally and romantically, we may begin to be drawn more inward, more towards family, or more towards one-on-one relationships for the next few weeks; however this may not be so obvious at first--it may take a couple of days to really become clear to us.

Today in particular seems like a very powerful day to communicate harmoniously with others. It's very possible that higher, more spiritual motives may infuse our business communications and endeavers. Overall, it looks like a good day to exercise responsibility and make strong business moves.

I get the sense that between yesterday and today a significant little shift is occurring in regards to moving forward with the new visions and potentials of this year. Today seems to be the final day of some energies that have been running for the last couple of weeks. Tomorrow is likely to bring in some bold new energies, however, for now, it seems like an important time to bring to completion some recent trends and to become more aware of the things you've learned from recent experiences. There is some evidence of new beginnings occurring today, but even these beginnings seem likely to be watered down by some kind of completion of matters from the recent past.

It's a very good day to tune into your life direction intuitively and attempt to see the big picture. Beginning tomorrow, "implementation" will become more emphasized, but this is a good time to reflect mentally and philosophically about where you are headed. This would seem to help us to move forward more "on the ground" beginning tomorrow.

A small-scale phase of attention to social or group matters is also coming to some kind of completion today. It's a good time to wrap things up in these departments or just pay some extra attention to these matters, because beginning tomorrow, we may find ourselves beginning to be drawn more inward, more towards family, or more towards one-on-one relationships for the next few weeks; however this may not be so obvious at first--it may take a couple of days to really become clear to us.

This seems to be a powerful day for traveling about, or just making some major changes in your lifestyle or your day-to-day routine. "Movement" is in the air. Energies over the last couple of weeks have been overwhelming, to say the least: highly mental (too much so, quite likely), chaotic, and marked with some dramatic and probably unexpected changes. The good news is that things are probably on the verge of settling down.

Yesterday was the day that Mercury went Direct. Suddenly the skies are clear for making major purchases, signing contracts, and beginning new endeavors. It's very likely that your life direction or career focus has gone through a significant change or redirection over the last few weeks. Now it's time to start picking up any pieces that may be lying on the ground, and begin to move forward.

Today should pose some interesting challenges in the areas of work or health. These challenges are likely to be for the purpose of changing some kind of negative patterns. Take responsibility and have faith, and there could be a nice spiritual triumpth in all of this.

We've been under the influence of the upcoming New Moon for a couple of days now. If I had to sum up the theme of this event, I would say it has a lot to do with taking action (a lot of it) and being responsible for others. There is a lot of power in this influence for the next couple of weeks that would optimally be used for some major productivity and "building." I strongly recommend going with that flow. Work, build, power up and manifest. Without doing that, these energies could result in more difficult and problematic manifestations. So here's a hammer for you. For the next couple of weeks, just hammer away.

Early January

Astrologically, there is so much reason to be hopeful about the prospects of this year. I still think it's possible that some negative events could pop up over the next month (maybe two), but over the long haul, I think the big picture is very exciting. The positions of Uranus and Neptune throughout the year will create an environment that has at least the potential to create an incredibly magical time in our lives, if not in human history. Vibrations are "high" rather than dense, so it is a very good time to act out of your highest nature and your most idealistic callings.

That's probably going to be scary for a lot of people. But if it's possible to generalize, I would say that this is a year where it will pay to really trust in the goodness and abundance of the Universe, and take those leaps of faith that are connected to you "doing the right thing," and putting your ideals into action. Here's a good question to put to yourself, "what would you do if you weren't afraid of being absolutely true to your highest self?" So this is a year where it won't always pay to be so rational and logical and worried about all of those mundane concerns that can become excuses not to live to your highest potential. At times over this year, you'll need to tell that skeptical, doubting mind of yours to just shut its little yapper, and instead, allow it to see what it's like to live when you spread your wings out all the way and jump off of the mountain, trusting in God's Grace to support you in doing "what's really right."
