Sunday, August 31st


In most respects, I think today looks more pleasant than yesterday. There may be some heavy emotions today, but there is also plenty of opportunity to direct those feelings in a positive and dynamic way. We are likely to be feeling much more at ease and successful in social situations today. With everyone having their charm and confidence at a higher level, things will probably feel much more settled than they were yesterday, but today could have an odd moment or too as well.

One interesting feature of this time is that it is a great time to pay homage to the traditions that we respect or want to be a part of, and to find ways to participate in these traditions more fully. By refining our approach in order to be a part of something with a rich history, we can help perpetuate something that adds a lot of color and value to our cultures.

This is also a particularly important time to find inner sources of spiritual strength, and to work with these forces. Much of the creative and mental potential available to us at this time probably depends upon our ability to directly ask for this spiritual help.


Saturday, August 30th


This is a very powerful and very interesting day. Much of the astrological drama centers around the heart, and not all of it is easy. In fact most people will probably experience a need to let go of some things in the realm of the heart. This, of course, is a vital and important part of life, but we often make such a letting go into something more difficult or painful than it needs to be. One of the positive potentials of this pattern is to be openhearted with others, to feel compassion, or to give some kind of counsel. Universal love is the name of the day, and what happens for you today is probably much more in God's hands than yours. Don't forget to turn to your sources of spiritual strength, if needed.


Friday, August 29th


When the planets change so drastically, as they have over the last week, it would make sense if it took a little time to feel settled again. Your personal universe has shifted around this week, at least on the inside, and there's no doubting that astrologically. If it feels a little odd, give yourself a little more time to get settled. The next couple of days look like a good time to try to regain your balance and inner center.

Mentally you may be feeling overstuffed by this point. The universe has been working overtime to try to fill our heads with brilliant new ideas and understandings. While this will continue in many ways for the next month, today should be a kind of peak of this time period of illumination, innovation, and discovery.

Yesterday Mercury went retrograde while Pluto went direct. Translation: certain energies started moving backwards and inward at the same time as other energies started going forward and outward again. Further translation: we are in a period where it will be best in many ways to to work on getting caught up with items already on our plates, and being open to what things in our lives need to radically change directions. So try to deal only with following through on projects you have already started rather than starting new things, and keep an open mind as to directional changes that need to take place. Outwardly, forward progress will take place mainly in the way of getting "caught up." However, at the same time, some very deep and powerful forces within you, or current major life stories will begin to move forward now. That's more unique to your chart, so it is hard to generalize around what that is about. It probably means that we will make a lot of powerful progress with unfinished business over the next month or so.


Thursday, August 28th


Things are different now. Yesterday big, jolly Jupiter entered a new sign, shifting things around in every single one of our lives. Jupiter left a sign where it was relatively happy, in sunny Leo, and entered a sign that is about as foreign to Jupiter as George Bush is to the Green Party. Jupiter entered the earthy and detail-oriented sign of Virgo. It's sort of like dressing up Santa Claus (Jupiter) in a Wal-Mart uniform or sprawling him out on a yoga mat doing downward dog. It's kind of weird. The spiritual Guru (that's what they call Jupiter in India: "Guru") must now make sure to dot his "i's" and cross his "t's." He must make sure the kitchen is spic and span.

Jupiter may not be feeling as sunny as he once was in Leo, but he does have an ace up his sleeve. It's called commitment, also known as total focus and surrender to the work of the present moment. You are being given the opportunity to achieve this commitment. Tune in to yourself today and literally ask your Higher Self in which area of your life you are being given this opportunity. When the answer comes, and if you ask the answer will come sooner or later, you'll know what to do. Just ask yourself, WWJVD? (What would Jupiter in Virgo do?) Total immersion. Zen mind. Yeah, baby.

Oh, by the way, Mercury just went retrograde. The trickster will be out in full force today, so be sure to laugh at yourself when you slip unconsciously and start to get angry with him.


Wednesday, August 27th


"When the Moon is in the 7th house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, this is the dawning of the age of Virgo." Hm. Well, I need to work on that line a little. Or grow my Hair out a little longer. Virgo is currently highlighted by the transitting planets as we've rarely seen before, and today is the day where it's all coming together. The New Moon and Jupiter have joined Mercury, Sun, and Venus. What's it mean?

Rarely have so many powerful influences created such a powerful environment for the mind. This includes all kinds of studying, writing, teaching, contemplation, and even intuition. This also puts a major emphasis on health matters, with a potential for healing, particularly for those willing to look at their bodies and their diets and make needed changes. On one level, Virgo symbolizes the urge to commit and discipline one's self to either personal growth or service to others. This is your time to pick up those needed qualities and get into good routines and schedules in many different areas of your life. To everything there is a season. 'Tis the season to structure your life like an Olympic athlete in training.

Most earth signs will find this time more relaxing than normal, though some will see new work opportunities opening up and get even more focused. Virgo generally will begin a major period of expansion in worldly power, but Virgo's should be careful not to take on too much, because they might find themselves working much too hard over the next year if they aren't very careful. Fire signs will see enormous financial, work, and career opportunities opening up, but should remember to keep very healthy boundaries between work and play. Water signs will find their social schedules much more full than normal, but should watch to make sure they are not getting too involved with people that will become burdens down the road. Air signs will probably experience this time period as being more difficult than the other elements. However many will see emotional and family realms expand in nice ways, though many will also undergo some crises in these areas that will prove to be beneficial in the long run.

Today, in particular, is of course very dramatic. It's like the planets all ran into each other in a train station, bumping up together in one big pile. Mid-day should have plenty of drama, and quite likely swings from intense to more harmonious energy. Mercury is also stationary, so expect to see life playing pranks on you and various odd snafus. Scorpio's will begin to feel more clear-headed beginning tomorrow, though Gemini's and Virgo's may begin tomorrow to feel a little backwards for just the next few weeks.

Tuesday, August 26th


Looks like we've got a fiesty one on our hands today. Flaming relationships, it's what's for dinner. We're in the midst of a period of two weeks that will bring some major purging and purification to various relationships, and today seems likely to be one of the main days (probably the main day) where issues could really boil to the surface. Do yourself a favor and don't throw fuel onto any interpersonal flames today. Underneath any unusual events will probably be the need to change some things so that you are being kinder to yourself, and/or working out issues in relationships so that they are more positive for all sides. If anything seems to blow up, it may take a little while for the dust to clear and the outcome to be evident.

All in all, this week will bring a lot of shocks to a lot of people. Many people will find their luck changing, either for the better, or in the other direction. A lot of people will also make incredible discoveries, so keep your third eyes open.

It's also time to reflect on all that we have learned about our goodness, our power, and our gifts over the last year. You'll want to take those realizations into the upcoming phases where it will optimally be time to become more focused, more disciplined, and to really follow through on our material and spiritual goals. What the planets are asking us to do is to get in a good routine and schedule. And the next month continues to give us a great time for writing, learning, and studying.

Monday, August 25th


Today looks like it will give us another power boost, heading into the new dynamics of Virgo planets. I expect to see testosterone in full swing as we power through our goals today. It's also time to begin reflecting on all that we have learned about our goodness, our power, and our gifts over the last year. You'll want to take those realizations into the upcoming phases where it will optimally be time to become more focused, more disciplined, and to really follow through on our material and spiritual goals. What the planets are asking us to do is to get in a good routine and schedule. And the next month continues to give us a great time for writing, learning, and studying.

This upcoming New Moon energy, which we began feeling yesterday and will now feel for another two weeks, is extremely interesting, though we might sum it up as "nose to the grindstone." There are multiple forces at work in this one. Clearly some of this New Moon's energies are remarkably intense. We can expect not only the unexpected, but also some significant transformation. Relationships will undergo a death and rebirth; the relationships that make it through will be those where some negative elements are allowed to burn up in that fire. Most people will probably really need to focus on self-love, because there will be a major tendency to either be very hard on ourselves or to give too much of ourselves to others; this becomes even stronger beginning on Wednesday.

If there was ever a New Moon that called us into working on ourselves so that we can be of greater service to others, this is it. For some, that will have a lot to do with studying, healing, or learning new skills. This is not a time to be lazy. In fact, if you are strongly motivated by creativity, love, and compassion then you stand a great chance of slipping past the intensity of this Moon by transforming its power into an intense focus. Nose to the grindstone, but don't forget to breathe and take time to nurture yourself. For those who do maintain a disciplined focus, it looks like that dedication will pay off in a big way.

I want to say something like, "Are You Ready for Some Football?" except that it would be "Are You Ready for Some Virgo?" (It's an American thing, if you're scratching your head) The last couple of days got us started with a whole new earthy energy, but simultaneously had a jittery quality as well. This is the first full day that I expect to see the earthy vibes predominate in a pretty clear and unobstructed way. The main exception to this would be around 2 pm in Pacific time or 3 pm in Mountain time (etc.) where some of the outer focus may be lost; however this could easily shift over to a powerful internal focus. One thing to watch out for today is frittering away energy through arguments with others.

Saturday, August 23rd


It looks to me like we're still enjoying the afterglow of a couple of celestial events, offering us more peace and harmony in our lives. At the same time, a major stirring towards getting more grounded and focused is really underway by now. By the time tomorrow rolls around, it will be an irrestistible force.

We haven't seen this kind of heavenly grace for earth signs in many months, so they should enjoy these current energies a good bit. However, something for the earthy folks to be aware of is that their opportunities in life often come in the form of ... work. And what can be done to change that? First, when your work can become a sacred kind of service for you, you can patch into a much greater spiritual dimension in life. This is a key. Secondly, your work has to be providing something that you really value and believe in--something that you want to see a lot more of in the world. When your work fits these two criteria, it becomes a doorway to a truly magical life.

One of the interesting things about today is that it looks like a day (as yesterday also was, to some extent) to attempt the transition between the laziness of the last month into the hyper-activity of the next month. It looks like a lot of folks will be struggling with that transition today, but there's nothing you can really do to change where the planets are, so my advice is to give in to these energies and get more immersed in your work, studies, or other focuses in life. One way to really ride the higher dimension of these waves is to begin to work on yourself so that you can be of greater service to others.

(Here's something that I wrote yesterday, which was really meant to apply to today. My mistake.) Today in particular could bring in a lot of unnecessary worry. One of your best defenses against this would be to keep active so that you cannot get lost in these negative thoughts. For many, writing would be an excellent way to keep the mind focused on more constructive things.


Friday, August 22nd


If you missed yesterday's message, you might want to check it out to get a sense of the big shift we're about to undergo.

Today will bring a number of contrasting energies together, so I expect it to be a pretty strange one. The general level of self-esteem out there seems likely to step down a notch beginning today, however this inner feeling of deficiency could, strangely enough, have some really wonderful consequences. For example, we might begin to work harder on certain things and become more devoted to our studies and crafts, or begin to offer more of ourselves and our with others. Be especially mindful to keep things balanced in your personal life, however. These themes are likely to be emphasized very strongly for at least the next few weeks.

Yesterday and today seem likely to give us a valuable opportunity to reflect on what we've been learning or realizing about our worth, our gifts, and our goodness. Remember these insights! If you can, they will serve you very, very well over the next month, or even the next year.

Thursday, August 21th


If you haven't been hearing the sounds of cresendos recently, I think you'll definitely hear them today. Some phenomenal things have been happening in the sign of Leo over the last 30 days or so, and, as if what has already happened wasn't dramatic enough, the planets are coming back onstage today for a final encore. Soon everything will be headed into Virgo and we'll magically begin to become about three times as focused as we were over the last month, busting our little butts all over the place. But these Leo planets aren't going out without a good bit of fanfare. The final performance will be today and tomorrow.

What does this all mean? Have you been having any fun over the last thirty days? Have you been able to play, to relax, and to remember what a super cool rock star you really are? I hope you've had some rejuvenation, because it's about to be hammer time. No, not the MC, I mean the "if I had a hammer" time. Soon it's going to be time to build, build, build, and work, work, work. This upcoming journey of the Sun through Virgo will be a super-strength journey through this devoted and sometimes obsessive sign. It's going to be like Mr. Clean as you've never seen him before. He'll be wearing a leotard, a fluttering cape, and a big red and yellow "S" against his blue-colored chest. Super Mr. Clean. I know that all of the fire and air signs are probably quaking in their boots at the thought of this. If so, here is your mission for the day, should you choose to accept it:

Rejoice! Prepare yourself for the upcoming work-a-thon by having yourself a good ol' time.

There is another likely scenario, however. All of these recent Leo planets have likely boosted the self-esteem of quite a few folks to the point of getting them to take on some new risks and attempt to expand their empires. Here's the kicker. In a few days, you get to really start working on what you set yourself up for. Here's to hoping you are up to the upcoming challenge! You certainly won't be bored. Actually, I think you'll do just fine. Just remember to breathe, okay?

Today comes with an extra bonus: anything related to expansion or ambition in mental and communications fields will get a very strong wind in its sails. And be on the lookout for changes in plans or thinking; these changes are likely to be very good ones.


Wednesday, August 20th


'Looks like a beautiful day in the neighborhood to me. Actually, this looks something like Mr. Rogers's dream come true for most folks out there, particularly by the evening. With the exception of some potential conflict around the late afternoon (or possibly early evening in Eastern or Central time zones), which could very easily be particularly verbal in nature, this appears to be a very, very special day. The only other blight that I can see is that there may be some harvesting of karma related to things we have said, or promised, in the past.

However, those exceptions aside, this is a truly rare day that will have to offer us some very fun, joyful, or romantic opportunities. Some of the benefits could be financial or reconciliatory as well. Much of the best potential shown by the planets over the last few weeks appears to come to fruition today. There is certainly a negative potential with all of this however, which would seem to have a lot to do with overconfidence, egotism, laziness, over-indulgence, and/or spreading ourselves too thin. But clearly there is a ton of powerful energy today that will see extreme results of one kind or another.

If you are one the positive end of this nice treatment from the universe, and I expect the vast majority of people to be on that end, just keep your head together and your feet on the ground, and live it up. Grrrr, baby! Any big ideas or big plans that you have would begin under very lucky stars if you get them going today.


Tuesday, August 19th


Things are looking up. Relationships in particular should be breathing a sigh of relaxation right now (this might have started by the latter half of yesterday). For the most part, I expect to see sweeter, nicer energies around for the rest of the week, and for many people, some soothing energies to help unruffle some stressed out feathers.

Today in particular looks like a day where we will (hopefully) be elevating our thinking. The main potential roadblock I'm seeing is getting stuck in negative thinking habits, but I think only a minority of people will fall into that trap today; this does look like the main potential problem to be aware of, though. Be very mindful of the trips your mind may try to take you on, and if you don't like where it's going, slam on the brakes. If you're sliding hard, a little prayer for clarity may be just what the doctor ordered.

I would be very mindful right now of what your own ego is thinking and doing. There is a big desire for expansion, and in moderation, that can be very healthy. But the universe does not want us to forget how small we really are. Those whose heads balloon so that they feel bigger than the planet itself are probably in for some extremely big humility lessons. Just walk that tightrope. If you can master this ego test, you're in great shape. Expand, but remember that you are not as important as you will probably think you are. Expect this story to unfold over the next week or so.


Monday, August 18th


Folks, I'm not sure what to tell you about today. Everything is going in a different direction. Part of the energies are mentally focused. Some of the picture is very recreational and laid-back. And another part of the picture shows some emotional turbulence. I'm going to officially call this one a "wild card," and say that all bets are off.

If I had to guess, I would say that the first half of the day will have some major emotional turbulance for a lot of people. But by the second half of the day, I think we'll settle down a lot more and get more focused on some of our bigger goals. But again, this looks like a tough one to call.

Another thing to note is any realizations you've had about yourself around the topics of emotions and relationships recently. If you dig, you should be able to find a nugget in there worth remembering.


Sunday, August 17th


It's time to feel good about ourselves, Suns and Moons (ladies and gentlemen). Okay class, repeat after me:

I am beautiful, I am great

I have gifts that no one else does

With a little help from above, I can do anything if I set my mind to it

You get the idea ; ) This is the time to power up your self-esteem, love yourself, and love some other bodies, too. After a bit of needed relaxation in the early part of the day, the rest of the day should bring in some nice, peaceful energies and allow us to tune into the greater and higher parts of ourselves. Enjoy.

The only thing I can see that may get in the way of this is that some will come across some disappointments. If so, then the quicker you can let them go, the better. Be generous today in communicating with others, and you'll be going with the flow.


Saturday, August 16th


The middle and later part of the day looks like it will open up a powerful window of opportunity. It looks like an interesting chance to take all of the significant "soft" (easy, flowing, fun) energy going on with the planets recently and connect it with something more powerful, grounded, and deep. This is the kind of combination that could open a potential for real magic. For many, this will open up energies and opportunities in the good ol' realms of love and money. This could also end up being very empowering in terms of self-esteem and self-confidence, or give those with big dreams a nice boost.

It is not surprising me to see power returing to most locations in the U.S. today, because the main astrological correlation connected with the blackout ended around 4 am on the East coast. The astrological picture could look much more intense right now, but it really doesn't, so I'm not expecting anything too disasterous with this event. It was even reported in New York that there was less crime than normal last night. We'll see what happens in Detroit as the power is out until about Sunday.

Space ... the final frontier ... wait ... what was I just saying? Oh yeah ... space ...

Today looks like a spacer-outer to me. If you need to get some things done, you're lucky if you have a schedule of things you'll absolutely have to do; if you have to depend on initiative and self-discipline, it looks like you'll be climbing an uphill mountain today.

But this all seems okay since recent energies have been fairly power-packed. A little zoning out never hurt anybody, especially on a day like today.

One good way to take advantage of today's energies is to be of service to others. Nurture people with knowledge or intuition. Listen. And open to sharing your best, from your heart.


Wednesday, August 13th


Yesterday had so many diverse energies doing so many different things. Today seems much more basic and so much less complicated. Yesterday contained powerful focusing energies and powerful disruptive energies. If you handled all of it with some consciousness, hopefully you got to the bottom of some things so that these issues can be more healthy now. Today could also give an opportunity to expand on the focus that the recent days may have helped bring about.

Today looks like it will bring most of us a great, big gift (especially so for water signs), and give us a chance to roll with the expansion. This expansion could have a lot to do with any of the following: abundance, self-worth, exposure/PR, independence,freedom, or family/domestic matters.

It's another extremely powerful day for the mind, and any "experts" in mental or communications-oriented fields should get a chance to show off all of those fine distinctions that they have worked to gain.


Tuesday, August 12th


Between yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we are in a strong period of sudden or unexpected expansion of the abundance in our lives, and this can also have a lot to do with an expansion of our self-esteem. This is a really cool opportunity that I hope you're enjoying. At the same time, the planets are giving us the opportunity for a renewed focus and discipline towards accomplishment.


The second half of today does not seem to be as powerful as yesterday was, but could provide us with some valuable time to reflect on recent goals and activities.

One of the themes of today seems to be about opportunities or focus on ways to make money, quite possibly in new ways. Another theme presents a way to go to much greater depth in our thinking or communication with others; but be very mindful not to sink into negative thinking habits or attempts to control or manipulate others verbally (or through writing).


Monday, August 11th


Welcome to the next Full Moon, the energy of which is not incredibly different than the last New Moon. But if you know what that means, it's likely to come across as good news. Over the last couple of weeks, I kept meeting people who were having a hard time with their motivation to work and be focused on practical matters. I think I can tell you why. The recent New Moon was dominated by some of the most fun-oriented planets an astrologer will ever see. The new energy we've entered as of Saturday, the Full Moon, looks much the same. So I expect this basic pattern to continue for another couple of weeks:

Hard to work; easy to play.

If it's possible for you to just go with that, and celebrate a little summer vacation, then I think you'll be riding the waves in the way nature intended. For those who feel an onset of vertigo at the thought of easing up on responsibility in order to have fun, don't worry. In a couple of weeks, there will be more Virgo planets than you can shake a stick at, and we'll all be working like slaves once again. In the meantime, if you can, go with the flow, enjoy yourself, and live it up. One of the big experiences to gain from the Sun's journey through Leo this year is to remember to feel really good about yourself, and to remember that you deserve to be happy. Here are some other tips and changes for the next couple of weeks:

The mental side of life will continue to experience a renaissance for the next couple of months, but over the next two weeks, work on keeping your mind elevated and focused on positive matters. It looks like there will be a lot of temptation to get mentally lazy by indulging in more of the dark side of the mind. Keep it really positive, and you'll probably be rewarded with some amazing insights.

Once again, I'm seeing the planets give a warning around sexuality. An overly inflated sense of entitlement and ... well, lust, combined with a more potentially selfish and immoral mood, could get a lot of folks into hot water if they start thinking too much with their lower brains. For others, sexuality seems to be at a peak over the next couple of weeks. You know what to do. If not, well you'll have to go to another website for that.

Many of the challenging energies switched over to the domestic and family scene in June while the friendship/social realm became a renewed source of positive energy. But now there is another kind of mini-shift happening in these same areas. In many ways, the remainder of this year, all the way into next May, should bring at least some more positive forces into the domestic and family scene, giving us a bit of relief from some of the intensity that most have seen in that department of life for more than two months now.


Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th


Welcome to the next Full Moon, the energy of which is not incredibly different than the last New Moon. But if you know what that means, it's likely to be good news. Over the last couple of weeks, I kept coming across people who were having a hard time with their motivation to work and be focused on practical matters. I can tell you why. The recent New Moon was dominated by some of the most fun-oriented planets an astrologer will ever see. The new energy we've entered as of Saturday, the Full Moon, looks much the same. So I expect this basic pattern to continue for another couple of weeks:

Hard to work, easy to play.

If it's possible for you to just go with that, and celebrate a little summer vacation, then I think you'll be riding the waves in the way nature intended. For those who feel an onset of vertigo at the thought of shunning responsibility in order to have fun, don't worry. In a couple of weeks, there will be more Virgo planets than you can shake a stick at, and we'll all be working like slaves once again. In the meantime, if you can, go with the flow, enjoy yourself, and live it up. One of the big experiences to gain from the Sun's journey through Leo this year is to remember to feel really good about yourself, and to remember that you deserve to be happy. Here are some other tips and changes for the next couple of weeks:

The mental side of life will continue to experience a renaissance for the next couple of months, but over the next two weeks, work on keeping your mind elevated and focused on positive matters. It looks like there will be a lot of temptation to get mentally lazy by indulging in more of the dark side of the mind. Keep it really positive, and you'll probably be rewarded with some amazing insights.

Once again, I'm seeing the planets give a warning around sexuality. An overly inflated sense of entitlement and ... well, lust, combined with a more potentially selfish and immoral mood, could get a lot of folks into hot water if they start thinking too much with their lower brains.

Recently our minds have been much sharper, more attuned to receiving and refining new ideas and concepts. Today is one of the most powerful days for the mind during this recent period of intellectual expansion, not only creating more openness and intuition, but also more discipline, realism, and scientific thinking. For many people this will turn out to be an extremely productive and creative time for business-related affairs. In the social realm, we might make some valuable connections with others today.


Sunday, August 3rd


Some very powerful forces are coming to a peak today. The planets seem to be indicating that we're experiencing a reorientation towards personal power, leadership, or self-expression, but that there are also, simultaneously, forces operating to keep us humble, meek, and mellow. At the same time there appears to be an inner, spiritual drive towards greater self-realization, there is also some kind of power holding us back to some extent and making us surrender to not being totally in control--probably for the purpose of encouraging us to remember our focus mentally while we are feeling a little out of sync. Two options seem significant, and one will probably be right for you:

1) let go of control, take it easy, and accept your limitations while remembering what it is you want to do when you feel more powerful.

2) through surrendering to the spiritual forces that are trying to get your attention, you may be able to work fully with these forces and forge ahead in a truly remarkable way.

Along the lines of #1 above, it may still just be that time of year to really kick back and enjoy some R&R.

This looks like a very dynamic day with energies bouncing back and forth from easy to challenging and back again. Be prepared for the ups and downs. It looks like creativity could pay off financially today, so perhaps all of the energetic push and pull could help generate some motivation in this direction. The planets are still generally speaking volumes about how it's time to have fun and/or celebrate ourselves. This evening should give us an opportunity to connect with others; something that might feel a little foreign as of late.

I just found out that the two most infamous horror film villians, Freddy and Jason, are now starring in a movie together called ... well, Freddy Vs. Jason, scheduled for release on August 15th. Later this month, Mars will be physically closer to the Earth than it has been in about 72,000 years. Since Mars is an infamous planet signifying such things as anger, aggression, and warfare, let's hope that the worst thing we see this month is Jason and Freddy going at it.

Mars has been stationary in the sky for more than a week now, a dominant influence on the astrological scene. During this time we have likely seen some emphasis on anything from outright conflict and emotional drama to an undercurrent of enmity and disdain. It's a symbol of separation rather than closeness and unity. Our challenge, fellow seekers, is to reverse that trend with such spiritual tools as love, openness, prayer, meditation, and communication. Learn how to swim upstream, and you'll really know how to swim.

If you didn't experience it yesterday, then the earlier part of today should give us an important opportunity to choose which direction we want to go in with the energies of Mars. At best, we'll bring awareness to the issues he has been triggering in our lives of late, and by doing so we'll use this deeper internal awareness to dissolve the power of the transit to act out so externally in our lives. We have to own up to the forces of anger and conflict within ourselves if we hope to become a master of our own destiny, and see less strife projected "out there" in the external events of our lives. Mars is currently doing what Mars does best: challenging us to grow. But look much deeper than the external play. Look inside, and open your heart.
